Today's Quote by Edgar Allan Poe

"The scariest monsters are the ones that lurk within our souls."
Edgar Allan Poe

Things to be curious about today...
*Go out and look around you. What have you never noticed before?

Happy Halloween and a Quote By Edgar Allan Poe

“Men have called me mad; but the question is not yet settled, whether madness is or is not the loftiest intelligence– whether much that is glorious– whether all that is profound– does not spring from disease of thought– from moods of mind exalted at the expense of the general intellect.”
Edgar Allan Poe

I think that I will look for his biography the next time I go to the library. Or better yet, I will pencil it in for October 2017! That would be a great book to read in order to get into the spirit of Halloween!! Why didn't I think of that this year!!

Thursday

Would Love To Have Invited This Man To Dinner

"I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity."
Edgar Allan Poe

Now this man would know how to keep the table entertained... by scaring the pants off of you!

Saturday

Getting To Know What Edgar Allan Poe is All About

I think that I'm going to forget all about packing things today... at least for a little while. I'm going to head to the bookstore to find a collection by Edgar Allan Poe. I want something a little creepy lol, front and center on the bookshelf for October.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Sleep, those little slices of death; Oh how I loathe them.
