Listening to the Radio This Morning

 While I have been aware of how our climate is changing, it really hit home to me after listening to a gentleman on the radio this morning. He pointed out like myself, he probably won't be around in 30 years, but his grand daughter will be and that really scares him.

Many of our generation doesn't believe that anything at all is happening. Why can't they just sit back and say... maybe we could be wrong so lets clean up this planet for our grand children.

Today's Early Morning Thought... Does Your Butt Hurt??

Apparently this Piriformis Syndrome that I have is quite common. All you have to do is look on YouTube to find all the physiotherapists talking about it. Personally, I never heard of it until I got it.

I have had it now for nearly 2 months and it is horrible. If anyone out there has a "Pain in the Butt" and no I'm not kidding, it is probably your Piriformis muscle that is causing it. I am tackling a few more exercises that I wasn't able to do just a week ago, so I think that things must be looking up.

But... it looks as if I will have to do them the rest of my life to keep this muscle happy! And trust me... you don't want to annoy this muscle!!

Thoughts For an Early Morning... Very Creepy Weather

 Have no idea if this has any correlation but last week, I began to outline a horror plot, and the weather suddenly changed  and today it is foggy as I stare out the window.  We have woods all around us and it is definitely creepy out there this morning.  And come to think of it, we had a rainy night... 2 days ago. 

It might not sound odd to you, but before working on the outline, we had been experiencing -25c degrees temps and now above zero in less than a week.  And if that isn't enough, we have had 5 snowstorms since the beginning of December... two of the blizzards!!

ps...I think that I will continue to work on this outline until May... just to see what happens.

Thoughts For Jan 14 2017

 Well, we finally have something to look forward to!! Next week, the temps are actually supposed to climb above zero!!  After yesterday's -45 with the windchill, having temps that just might bring about a little melting of all of this snow! And we have A LOT!

Thankfully the winds that we had two days ago blew a lot of it off of the roof. We were getting a little nervous after 5 snowstorms so far this winter!!

Well, not quite sure what to think this morning! Last night was certainly interesting to say the least!. Can't remember the last time I stayed up until 1:30 a.m.!!  Everyone is wondering... what will happen next? I'm sure that there are A LOT of very nervous people around the world!

Some Christmas Thoughts This Morning

What I'm thinking about today: trying to come up with Christmas gift ideas for hubby... who always tells us to "save your money!" He drives me crazy

What's on my mind today: How we can retire early. I want to live in Florida permanently! We are on vacation at the moment and I could get used to this!!

Sharing a superstition: On Christmas Eve a candle should be left burning the entire night in a window for good luck.  Luckily we have those battery operated candles. I will go with that one for safety purposes. ;)
