I have this thing about window sills and my need to put something on them. It drives my daughter nuts. In her mind they should be completely clear of clutter. But I still remember my Grandmother's window sills. They were always covered with the most gorgeous plants... not in planters such as this, but old tobacco cans. Ahh, the memories. In my opinion, that's what window sills were made for.
