Hair donations made to fix road | Metro.co.uk

"Thousands of faithful in Myanmar have donated 1,750lbs (800kg) of their hair in a money-raising campaign to repair the route to a sacred Buddhist pagoda, reports said."

And from what I have been reading, some of these locks measure up to 4 feet in length. The people are hoping that wigs and dolls can be made from their donated hair and the money raised can be used to fix their roads. Now that is dedication. Can you imagine how long it must have taken to grow their hair that long?
