What is the earliest memory you have? I actually can answer this one and it's a little unusual for someone 2 years old to recall anything 68 years later. I remember Hurricane Hazel hitting our house. It blew in the kitchen window and I remember dad and mom in the kitchen nailing a blanket over the window to try to keep the wind out. That's pretty much all I remember of that night. I'm sure mom scooped me up and put me back to bed. The next day... nothing!! But I certainly remember the scene I just described to you.
