It's never to late to talk to your mom... For some reason we were talking about seeing all the fireflies in the yard this summer and she told me that when she was a kid, her brothers used to collect fireflies and then bring them into the house. They would then lie on the floor in the dark... IN THE HOUSE and watch the fireflies. I HAD NEVER HEARD THAT STORY BEFORE! So, I thought that this lamp would be a little reminder of a summer night long ago!

I read somewhere that we should (as moms) schedule "tea parties" so that we can have a one on one time with each of our children each week. During our little "tea party" discussions of anything and everything can take place. Gives you an insight into your kid's world and a peek into yours as well.
