I don't know why I never thought of this earlier, but I received an electric blanket for Christmas and now I don't know what I would do without it. I plug it in a few minutes before I go to bed and by the time I have washed my face and brushed my teeth, the bed is warm and soothing. Nothing quite like it. It has an automatic 10 hour setting or you can shut it off any time through the night if you prefer. I'm loving it!!
