Can you hate winter but love snowflakes?

And then there is the little song... Suzie Snowflake. And yes, I'm humming it to myself right now.

“Like snowflakes, the human pattern is never cast twice. We are uncommonly and marvelously intricate in thought and action, our problems are most complex and, too often, silently borne.”
 Alice Childress

Blue skies & white fluffy snow - made right here!
A Friend Who Lives in the North

“Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand-and melting like a snowflake...”
 Francis Bacon,

“Nature is full of genius, full of the divinity; so that not a snowflake escapes its fashioning hand.”
 Henry David Thoreau

Lets color a snowflake... not us silly. I found this snowflake on a grandparents site. Unfortunately, my granddaughter lives a long way away, but I might send her the link anyway! :)

It won't be long before all of our Christmas decorations are quietly packed away until next year, but I thought that this Snowflake fairy would look cute and she could make us feel better until spring arrives. Check out the instructions... they are quite simple but the end result is quite effective.
