Speaking of Manitoba...
When I'm not keeping my eyes open for bears wandering into the yard, I'm playing in the garden!!
There
are so many really unusual plants here in Manitoba. One that really caught my eye is called a Kiwicha..
I don't know if they come in any other colors, but this particular one
is ruby red. Apparently it is from a very old family of plants that
have been around since the Aztects and really good for you. They even
added the seeds to a hot pan and they popped just like popcorn. Never
expected that!!
