My Thoughts on Advice...

I was thinking about this topic just this morning. I really don't like to take advice... if that is how it is presented. Now maybe if I was simply talking to a friend and she happened to mention something that I thought made sense, I would take it, but if she was sitting across the table from me and said... "this is what you should do", chances are I would get my back up and I am pretty sure that I wouldn't do it!

And to make things even worse, I think that I passed that trait on to my daughter. She will not listen to all of my words of wisdom if her life depended on it. And I have tried lol... many times.

I think that I will shut up from here on out!

Advice for the Day...

If you have a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: Take two, and KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.

I remember these days!  Must send this to my son. He is now the proud father of a three year old lol!

Monday

Clutter Under My Sink

Nothing really exciting to report this morning other than I'm going to spend about ten minutes trying to sort out under my kitchen sink. I really need to find a way to organize the area! I wish that the builders would come up with an idea to put little shelves in there or something. All that room going to waste and at the end of the day... everything fighting for the little space that there is left.

Quotes About Hair and Inflation

Inflation is when you pay fifteen dollars for the ten-dollar haircut you used to get for five dollars when you had hair.

Sam Ewing

I'm sure that we all have stories like that. Each generation will likely be able to outdo the previous lol!

1. "The first time you meet a new stylist, put him to the test. Ask for a 1/2 inch trim and then see how well he follows instructions" JB

2. Life is an endless struggle full of frustrations and challenges, but eventually you find a hair stylist you like.

And under no circumstances let your husband anywhere near you with a pair of scissors. Yes, he can even mess up a simple trim. Yes... been there and done that!
