A Little Bit of Foolishness
Each day, and the living of it, has to be a conscious creation in which discipline an order relieved with some play and pure foolishness.
Mary Sarton
*Sadly, my dad did not believe in play and certainly not foolishness. I guess that he was brought up in a time when hard work was required by everyone in the family... just to survive. Even as an adult, I find it hard to work playtime into my schedule, but I'm trying. ;)

A New Quote For Today- A Quote About Finding Balance
We must learn to be still in the midst of activity and to be vibrantly alive in repose.
Indira Ghandhi
Finding balance is hard for me. I seem to be on overdrive every minute of the day. To sit still for even 5 minutes is almost impossible which I just realized... I haven't stopped all morning. I bought a book a couple of years ago... something about 8 minute meditations. I thought that I would be able to handle eight minutes! How hard could that be? Well... I soon learned that it was indeed... hard. Maybe I will set the kitchen timer at one minute and then work up from there.
That should work right??
