Kicked in the Teeth and not feeling too positive

We are not feeling too positive today. Every once in a while something bad happens and somehow you have to get through it. We have known for three days, but it feels like a eternity. I thought that finding a positive quote might help.  It was the part... "we are not living in eternity" that grabbed my attention. Worrying serves no purpose so perhaps doing something that I enjoy right now has some merit.

Maybe a Christmas movie is called for. I have a bookshelf full of them. I just have to pick one and then settle into bed and let it entertain me.

“Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand-and melting like a snowflake...”

A Quote About Failing

Ever tried? Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail BETTER.
Samuel Beckett

If a man has a talent and cannot us it, he has failed. If he has a talent and uses only half of it, he has partly failed. If he has a talent and learns somehow to use the whole of it, he has gloriously succeeded, and won a satisfaction and a triumph few men ever know.
Thomas Wolfe

There is no failure except in no longer trying.
Elbert Hubbard

*Have you ever just wanted to give up because you failed at something? Did you fail because you didn't try a new approach? I think that's the key. If you fail at something, give it a go, but in a different way. Who knows, this time you just might nail it!

* "Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, only this time more wisely."
 Henry Ford

* "There is no failure except in no longer trying. "
Elbert Hubbard

* “Sometimes by failing we find a better opportunity to win.”
Debasish Mridha

*“Keep on beginning and failing. Each time you fail, start all over again, and you will grow stronger until you have accomplished a purpose - not the one you began with perhaps, but one you'll be glad to remember.”
 Anne Sullivan

* “If you're not failing every now and again, it's a sign you're not doing anything very innovative.”
 Woody Allen

*“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
 Thomas Edison

* “It is fine to celebrate success, but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.”
  Bill Gates
