How curious that I should find this particular quote today. I am just winding down a vacation that entailed many towns (not cities) that I have never been too. It has been an amazing vacation where I visited the county where my ancestors lived. I now feel that I know them that much better and can imagine the kind of life that they lived in the early 18th century. Certainly much different from the life that I am living. I wonder what they must have felt knowing that a great great great... and then some granddaughter had come all this way to say hello. :)
