Stress... Feeling Horrid Today...

The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose another thought over another.

Jan 5... Christmas was really hard this year :(  And I thought that I was doing so well...

A few more thoughts....

I found this site a few years ago that I thought some of you might like... especially with Christmas costs mounting lol. Yes, as I mentioned above, it's kind of like Facebook where you can chat away to your hearts content... but you get paid every month to do it! Kind of nice to find money in your PayPal account for just chatting with friends and family. It's called MyLot and you will find it at https://www.mylot.com <P>

Thought for This Morning... Have you been nice to someone this morning?

Thought for This Afternoon...   Read something on stress today when all is quiet.

Thought for Tonight... Hoping to go to sleep tonight like I did in school...

Looking forward to...  I really need to make a list!!

Stress Can Do A Number On You!!

You are going to have those days when you DON'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING! That is where I'm at this very moment and it is all because I had a very stressful day YESTERDAY. But yesterday is over and I should just be able to fall back into my normal routine AND enjoy it. But, it's not happening. It's like this big cloud is still hanging over my head when it has lifted... completely.

So, I don't know what causes these days, but they are probably going to happen to you too... so just be ready for them deal with them the best way you can!!

A Quote About Life Without Stress

Now wouldn't this be nice!
At the moment, I'm tired, cranky and I want to go to bed. Moving is about as "stressless" as you can get, but we are nearly there. I'm almost ready to find that beach chair and kick back and do nothing but read a novel! ;)

The life of inner peace,
being harmonious and without stress,
is the easiest type of existence.

Time To Be A Little Less Serious

Schylling PANIC PETE SQUEEZE TOYTime to put your feet up and let the stresses go. Life is too short to be serious every minute of the day. So, don't put it off any longer, from this minute on, you are going to look at life in a different way. You will be amazed at how your life will change!!

And this little guy will help you remember. When you feel stressed, just give him a little squeeze! Kind of like those stress balls you see in every store at this time of year. This little guy just makes it a little more fun!

Staying in the Now

We have put in our year here and technically, we can go home. Our obligations are completed, but circumstances prevent that from happening, so today I'm going to stay in the now. I'm going to enjoy today and not think past that!! Who needs the extra stress of thinking ahead. I certainly don't. I'm going to live each day as it comes and enjoy all that it has to offer.

Tomorrow Morning...

When you get out of bed tomorrow morning, the first thing that I want you to think about is how you are going to cope with the stresses that the day may bring. You might be one of the lucky one... who breezes through the day without a care, but if you are like most of us, life isn't that simple.

Tomorrow is going to be a day where you practice calmness and you are going to stay in the present instead of thinking of what might happen!

Just in case you need a reminder ;)

Reflect on your present blessings of which every man has many, not your past misfortunes, of which all men have some. Charles Dickens

And that goes for me too. I complain about what I don't have more often than I smile about what I do!

Coping With This Mornings Stress

If you are struggling with an issue this morning, I want you to stop and take several deep breaths.

1. Breathe in to a count of 5, hold the breath for 2 seconds and then breath out to a count of five. This apparently is very similar to your sleep patterns.
Whenever you feel the need... repeat. Such a little thing but amazingly effective!
